   I received the planter to day. I was happy it came with zip ties which made hanging on my porch railing easy. I added mud to each one, fertilizer and water. I later planted my strawberry plants. It is holding up well. I will update in a few weeks on the progress. *Update* It held up well. I did use thicker zip ties due to it sagging from the weight of the soil when it was wet. I will reuse this next spring.

I planted plants towards the back so they don’t fall forward. I still haven’t decided what to put in the 6th pocket lol but I know I will he ordering another for flowers.

   Love how it looks! Have a narrow balcony so I didn’t want deeper boxy planters. I read some reviews that there were issues with drainage so I bought pebbles from the Dollar Tree and put in the bottom of each pocket. My only minor complaint is it came with white zip ties. I bought my own black to match the bags and rail. I also cut off the green label on front which was a distraction. Because the pockets slant down, dirt will run off the edge if you just water as is but I found if I pull the bottoms toward me when I water and wait for water to drain a bit it works just fine.

   The first thing that I did was to remove the awful green tag from the front. We hung it on a porch rail and planted some flowers and the flowers have thrived. I should have planted the flowers deeper in the pockets as they are drooping over the front. Next, time I'll know. People are complaining about water draining out the bottom. The material is felt. Of course, the water is not going to be retained. Water the plants slowly and the soil gets plenty of water. Water them fast and the water will run over the top. In the hot Texas sun, we water daily. Overall, we are very pleased with the hanging planter

   I am extremely happy with these hanging baskets. I'm already wanting more. They were easy to plant and easy to install. We'll see how they do with water retention and drying out, but they are not as pourous as my other grow bags so I think they'll do great.

   This was perfect for my apartment patio where only the rails get at least 4 hours of sunlight. The pockets fit 12-in pots. Putting in pots instead of the plant soil directly makes for easy clean up and moving the plants around. I wish there were different colors like cream or terracotta instead of black which is a stark contrast do my apartment building's off white walls.
