I had read reviews that said it took about a month before they noticed a big difference. I would agree with this after about 2 weeks we could tell there was difference and after about a month or so we didn't seem here anything anymore. We have cats and dogs and have not notice it causing any issues for them, I know that this is always a concern when getting a product like this. One package was good for our small house.

I bought this not really thinking it would do anything but I waited to write this review to see if it did (I believe it says it may take up to 6 weeks to start working) and within two weeks, dead flies were everywhere and dead rats and mice were everywhere (kinda nasty but at least they were dead?) I still have these plugged in and they still seem to do a great job at keeping away the rats, mice and flies but just be aware that it doesn’t kill gnats of any kind unfortunately. If I have to I will totally buy this again!
