   Overall, this product works great. When we're driving along he's pretty relaxed in it. It's restrictive buckling your dog in with the seatbelt, but that's kind of the point.
   I highly recommend that you pick a side of the car for your dog to be on at all times with this. I usually clip him in on the rear passenger side. At first he would sometimes try to turn around and get tangled behind the belt. He got used to it though and no longer got tangled. However, I switched him to the driver's side one time and it confused him...got tangled again.
   The other thing is that he can slip out of it if he's determined enough. If I step out of the vehicle at all, I'll find him out of the harness by the time I'm back. I go off roading sometimes and step out to spot somebody. He'll be sitting in the front seat when I get back.

   This is in my opinion the best out there, but I had to return it. I have a 17 pound Westie which is totally used to be in the car strapped. I wanted something more secure. I bought it, adjusted without much hassle and tested it hitting the brakes hard several times. All good, dog steady. However, within days I took him on a 4 hours road trip. After 2 hours the dog started getting antsy. We noticed he was totally constricted by the seatbelt with absolutely no room to move. It was not easy to getting him out with his level of anxiety by the time we got to him. Keep in mind, this is a dog that had travel in the car 8 hours without a single complaint. He loves going!

   When my dog travels in the cab of my truck I keep him secure using this harness. Because dogs are prone to stepping on the seat belt latch and releasing it, I instead use a carabiner rated for rock climbing that is connected to the two nylon handles on the harness (that are designed for the seat belt to pass through) and the carabiner is connected to a nylon tether strap that clips onto one of the latch car seat anchors that is typically used for a child's safety seat. The tether strap is adjusted just long enough for the dog to sit down and lay down comfortably.

   The harness is well made and I like the magnet connection although it's a bit tricky sometimes to figure out which way to slide to get it off.
   It took us a while to get it fitted onto our dog, we started out with it way over-tightened because she is small and then ended up loosening and redoing it several times to try and get it right. The way it fits on her is a little awkward because of her shape. Make sure you follow the instructions to pull the strap out of the first loop so that you can move the adjustment back and forth easily, we missed that step at first which made it very hard to tweak the fit.

   This is a great harness. It is easy to adjust and fits our fairly large dog with room to spare. It’s very easy to get it on her. It’s well made. The two metal rings on top are perfect for her leash. The seatbelt goes through the two handles on top. Usually she tips over on a turn in the car and I have to hold her steady. Now the harness and seatbelt keep her snug. She can still shift and turn on the seat for comfort. This is just what we needed especially with the possibility of Florida requiring dogs to be in a harness or crate while in the car. I feel much safer with her secure when we drive around.

   I like that this harness is crash tested and rated. It was pretty easy to fit (has handy numbers on the straps to help ensure you have both sides equal). Once fitted, its easy to put on/take off. I purchased the additional seat belt extension with the clip to fasten to the rings on the back as opposed to putting the seatbelt through the handles/straps. Main reason is that my seats fold up in the back of my truck to leave her the entire floor but the seatbelts aren't as accessible so the extension just clips right into the seatbelt buckle. She can sit, stand and lay comfortably but she can't jump in front (or out of the truck too soon when we get to our destination). She can move and it doesn't seem to rub or irritate her under her arms.
   Definitely worth it and makes me feel she is so much safer in all our travels together.
