   CQR is an amazing product. Pants need to be ordered 2 inches too large in the waist. The length is correct. Just order a little large in the waist and you will be good to go. As good or better than the more expensive brands that will remain un-named, but trust me. These are great. Side note... If you carry with an IWB, order 4 inches too large in the waist. Their measurements seem to be the limit of how far the elastic will stretch. That said.... A 36 inch waist will pull to it's limit at 36 inches. 38 inch waist will pull perfectly to 36. 40 inch waist will be just a little loose (fine with a belt) on a 36 inch waist, but with an IWB carry, it will be perfect. I still wear a belt.

   For the price this is awesome I rode my motorcycle in the rain a number of times and I can't believe how fast it dries aand protected everything in my pocket I carry whole bunch of non-lethal defense weapons and it is perfect however for the price you can't beat it you get two or three of these for the price of a really good 511 but it will wear out in a small pocket if you're using Tactical style metal clips I sewed piece of leather over those areas but I'll keep buying these pants I'm going to look for cargo short versions of it worth every penny it is so affordable . I have a cash business and I even kept my cash Superdry on my way to a deposit during a rainstorm

   I have tried numerous types of tactical pants, including several different types by CQR. These are definitely my favorites. They are lightweight, rugged, comfortable, stain & water resistant, and fast-drying. They look great straight out of the dryer. I'm always stopped by fellow 1st responders who ask me about them (they're mostly drawn to the wide belt loops). When not used for other gear, the 2 front accessory pockets work great for a portable battery charger and mifi. I also appreciate the 2d inside button on the fly.

   I have ordered this pants before and will order it again many times. These are a great fit and allow you to gain a little or lose a little weight and still have them fit well. I have used these for casual wear and for backpacking, canoeing, etc. They seem to work well for almost anything. Material is nice and tough, many pockets with velcro closure and the extra connection around the waist to keep it closed and fitting well. As I said, the best pants I've every purchased.

These will be my hot summer pants as it's very comfortable and doesn't trap heat. Imagine having nice lounging pants like sweatpants without having to look like a bum. These are that comfortable.    I bought these for traveling so I can have some extra pockets in the legs and not have to sit on my wallet for hours. I was surprised how nice they look, that I'm even wearing them at work to the office. The color is nice and black, and the fit is great with some elastic in the waistband, they are very comfortable. The little metal rings in the front are great to clip my pocket watch to. I will be buying more of these. I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam and these pants are plenty long enough.

   These pants are great for either work or tactical situations. They're probably close to the most military grade work pant that I've ever worn, they're very durable. I've had them for about six or eight months now and they're doing great. I'm very comfortable especially when it's hot outside and I'm in the Deep South so Comfort is especially important, when it's hot. They don't let your boxers bind either which is great, and they keep good airflow around your man area. You should try a pair.

   I'm using these for security work. I like them alot. My only complaint is that they are kinda loud. It reminds me of wearing a swimming trunks. If you need to be quiet I'd go with cotton cargo pants otherwise these are perfect for any other occasion. It rains alot on my patrol so they do a great job with water resistance. The key rings and extra pouches are nice too. I'd probably use these in a bug out situation also

The reason I'm going ahead and filing a review is because they appear to be well made, lightweight, hsve strong material and they appear that they will be long-lasting. This review is subject to change if they do not last as long as they should. I already own a pair of 5.11. While my 5.11s are tough as nails they are also incredibly heavy and hot. In comparison these pants are very lightweight and do not appear that they will be hot.
