   We recently moved into a new space for our makeup and photography studio. We needed separation between the dedicated makeup and photography spaces. I ended up building my own curtain rod using steel cable with 1" PVC pipe over the top. The entire run is 20 feet and I couldn't find a rod that was that large so I made my own. Luckily the Switchbots navigate it with ease.
   The curtains themselves are each 10 foot wide and 14 feet tall. I installed two Switchbots and paired them to a remote. It took maybe 15 minutes total to install, calibrate and pair. I have a second remote on order so that we can open/close the massive curtains on either side. We plan on renting the space out (don't mind the mess) so using the app wasn't really an option. The remote makes it super assessable for clients. I highly recommend Switchbots and plan on adding more of their products to our studio

   Our sofa is awkwardly in front of the curtains. To avoid this annoyance, I looked for a solution that was affordable and digital. The switch bots do just that. Easy to install on a range of curtain rails and it pulls quantum curtains weighing approximately 5 kg each forward. I don't think that too heavy curtains work well. It takes a while to calibrate, but the software has numerous options for easy use. I recommend it to everyone. Stuff feels robust, manuals and software are user-friendly. If I have to mention one disadvantage, that is the sound. But that takes 15 seconds

   This is another one of those best things I ever bought. I have two very large windows, living room, and dining room. I hate opening them up, especially the one behind the sofa, then closing them again every night I accidentally stumbled onto the SwitchBot. Easy to install run very smooth. I did not need to attach the beads to my grommet curtains and you can’t see them. Everyone’s trying to figure out how the curtains work. They open and close my curtains on the schedule and you can barely hear them.

   I bought this to naturally brighten up our room in the mornings. We have blackout curtains and love to sleep in total darkness but in the morning it’s tough to get up without any lights. I tried using smart lights but nothing works as good as the sun. These bots are super simple and easy to set up either single or in pairs. I bought 2 and the process to set them up was quick and easy! I set a schedule on the app and they’ve been working perfectly since. Battery seems to last a really long time, still at 90%+ after 3 weeks!

   I ordered version U of the SwitchBot Curtain.
   Setting up the product was very well explained through pictures and video.
   The fact that it was only in English didn't bother me now, but it could be a problem for others.
   About the product itself.
   After installation, download the SwitchBot Smart app and follow the instructions.
   It works very well and I also had no problems calibrating the curtain.
   The curtain is either controlled by mobile phone via Bluetooth, or you buy the mini hub and then you can operate it via voice control, Alexa/Google, etc.
   I am completely satisfied with the product so far, but if
   there are any problems later, I will change my review accordingly.

   Keeps fingers off the drapes!!! It does work. Directions not so good to start process. 1) down load app 2) hold down a little button that is near the charging hole for 2 or 3 seconds to turn on the bot. Then you are ready to calibrate, etc. For grommet curtains you do not need to add the string of beads. Works best without adding tape to your rod. It worked on my generic rod thats not fancy. I recommend this product…

   I already have a pretty sophisticated smart home set up but this just put it over the top. Have this over our back slider by doors and you put on a schedule and just set it and forget it.    These are the bomb! Since installing them, which was very simple, connecting them, also very simple, they have worked great! I have grommet blackout heavy curtains on an extendable rod. I am not using the ugly plastic clips included for grommet curtains and they work just fine without them. I have them automated to open and close at specific times setup through Alexa and they do so without fail. They are not very loud at all. The only bad thing is the price, having to buy 2 units and the bridge to connect Alexa and use on dual curtains adds up to a lot! If you can afford it, love smart home devices then these are for you!
