That seemed to be the best way to keep stuff fresh was in my mesh colanders, but now I put the berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) right in the basket, rinse them, shake a little and they go back into the container and frig. They stay fresh as long as they did in the colander, but now they are sealed in a container and the left over water is not dripping everywhere (it’s contained in the container). This is a truly MUST-HAVE for fruit lovers.
