I have used it to pull up Dallas grass, blue grass and nut grass and worked great. The cockleburr grass it doesn’t work as well because it is more of a vine weed. It would pull it loose then I had to pull it out. It seems sturdy enough to work in my clay soil. I have only used it though after a rain so I don’t know if it will work when they clay soil becomes like rock in August. Pleased with it so far
