We liked the first one so much that we purchased and second one, so my wife can join in the fun. The shaft, plunger and prongs are sturdy and should hold up for quite a while. Overall it is easy to use.

   I don’t normally write reviews, so this is a big deal. I ordered this tool a few days ago and Oh. My. God. It’s been an absolute life saver. The day before it came, I was on my hands and knees weeding for over an hour with very very little progress. It was frustrating and I knew I wasn’t getting the weeds out deep enough (the ones in my yard have particularly deep, thick roots. This arrived today, and I weeded more in 5 minutes than I have the last week (picture is of all the weeds I got out in FIVE MINUTES). The tool is extremely easy to use, VERY effective, and it’s so nice I don’t have to bend down. Highly, highly recommend.

   I am using this to pull out clumps of rye grass in my bermuda grass yard. It works great. It is very easy to use and it plenty sturdy. Full disclosure is that I live at the beach so my soil is very sandy. This tool has no problem spinning in the sandy soil.

   This works fantastic on hard to pull weeds with deep roots!! I have tried pulling, digging, and other weed removal tools but nothing else has worked as well. This tool gets down to the root and by twisting the tool about 2 - 3 times you can literally hear the roots being pulled out and they are removed when you pull up with the weed attached around the base and pull it completely out of the ground!! I did have to watch the video and try a few failed attempts before I got the hang of it but, once I did, it was fun and easy to use.

   Oh my god!This will be a go to tool for me from now on, and I cannot wait to get started on the rest of my yard. I bought this on a whim given my husband and I bought our first house and know nothing about caring for a yard and boy has it come in handy. Our new house had a ton of weeds in the back yard and this tool helped me get most of them out in no time. In fact, the process of yanking out the weed was strangely satisfying! I don't think anyone can say that weeding is fun but this tool made it as close to fun as you can get, especially when you see a long root along with the weed you pulled.
