   I purchased this motion activated sprinkler because I have chickens and ducks and I wanted to see if it would prevent them from digging up all my spring annuals. They are allowed to free range for a couple of hours every evening and typically don't bother anything that is established. But I like to plant colorful annuals and every Spring its a battle to keep the birds from destroying my new plants. Not anymore!!!! As soon as they hear the sprinkler they run and after a few days they just don't even go to that area. We will have a gorgeous garden this year thanks to "THE ENFORCER."

I have seen the enforcer scare away moose, cats, dogs, squirrels ect. But, the best part is when your boyfriend forgets it’s on and happens to walk in it’s path.    The sprayer assembly and hardware are good quality and can work as a very expensive water sprinkler. Wish I could have taken a photo of the 14 geese laying on the ground just 10 feet in front of the sprinkler. Over and over again the geese walk in front of this and it will not activate. But, But if I walk in front of it or my wife (sorry honey) it goes off every time. You can direct the focus of the sensor up and down and quite a few stops in between. No luck with birds and very large Canadian geese. Seeing the Enforcer fail time and time again to turn on with geese walking and preening within 10 feet of it is really disappointing. I think this would be good for deer, bears, large animals. But for ducks, crows and geese, not effective at all.

Assembly took 2 min very easy to put together with easy to follow instructions. Love the on and off features as well as motion detector. You can be very innovative with this product. I actually stuck one in a pot full of dirt and set it on a table for detection of animals lower to the ground. The sensor is also adjustable. This is a well made product.

   This is a well-made device, certainly sturdier than its less-expensive competitors. BUT, although the ad specifically says it deters rabbits, those in my neighborhood escape detection with ease. I've moved the sensor in every direction possible, but Bugs and Peter dine unmolested. I even approached one to see if its hopping would trigger the mechanism. It did not. My unintended salad bar remains open to the long-eared public.

   After you follow the instruction and you will see that the sprinkler goes wild (nonstop). If this happens and you believe you have followed all the instructions in the tinny instruction guide, I suggest you turn off the hose then switch off the sensor (set it on OFF). While the water is off, turn the sensor to ON. Stand in front of it and if you hear the clicks from the switch then you are good to go. Just open the hose and it should be okay.

   I owned 8 Scarecrow Sprinklers. Because a broken part was not available for purchase, I was told by their support to purchase a complete new sprinkler. I instead purchased this Orbit Enforcer. It is OUTSTANDING. I find it 100% better than the Scarecrow. After the sprinkler is staked in the ground the head can be adjusted up and down very easily. The distance the water sprays, and the length of time the water sprays can also be adjusted. The Orbit Enforcer to me is superior to the other 8 sprinklers I own. I am so happy with the Enforcer that I have purchased another.
