It is easy to control and lasts about 15 minutes and takes 60 minutes to charge...my kids wish it lasted longer but with prior water boats we have had similar drive and charge time. My 6 year and and 11 year can both steer the boat pretty good and love it! The boat wont start unless it is in water which is great. One time we had several kids in the pool and the boat did get close to a girls hair that was longer and it got stuck in the propeller so tell anyone with long hair to watch out if the boat is headed their way :)

Goes forward, reverse, port (left), starboard (right), or just stops. It has a tiller adjuster because the tiller does get misaligned after some use. Comes with two rechargeable battery packs with USB chargers but the boat only uses one at a time. Lift up on little plastic battery connector on the wire housing in order to lock and unlock battery to the charger and the boat. Lots of fun for the whole family! The box is suitable for gifting too!
