This flashlight works. I wouldn't say it picks up every vein in the arm but you have to really experiment with it and master your technique. It does pick up veins close to the surface. This is the closest thing I've found that assists. I work as a Lab Tech. Even if it works 2 out of 10 times, totally worth it for the two hard sticks. Saves the patient a poke or multiple pokes if the patient is a hard stick.
