I was most impressed by the quality of the product for the price. They thought of everything putting these binoculars together to make them easy to use, easy to carry, easy to keep stored. They have some weight to them because there is good quality material inside and out. Compared to my old binoculars, there are way better for clarity, ease of focus and comfort to use. The case and the straps are all good quality and well padded. Nice that the straps can go through the top eye covers so you don’t lose them when you take them off. Reading the numbers on a license place almost a block away showed that I had made a great purchase. Oh, and customer support is top grade

I bought this for my son, 11, to take on hikes and view birds and to view the neighborhood and beyond on the roof. I was also looking for a decent brand along with a reasonable price. These binoculars fit the bill. They are by a well known brand and offer a decent distance clearly. The only drawbacks I have are minor. They are a little bit big for a child and a little bit on the heavy side. I knew this when I bought them and so far it hasn’t been a problem with my son. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

These binoculars are excellent for the price. A couple reviews said they wish the binoculars had a tripod mount. They do! Pop the round black cover off the center post on the end that is away from you when looking through them. Mine came off using just my fingernails, and there are the mount threads! These types of tripod mounts require a horizontal mounting device like the binocular tripod mount suggested for these binocs.

The binoculars come in a soft pouch with a velcro flap. All 4 lenses have covers, the large covers fit snugly, the smaller covers are a bit loose, but, as you store them large side down I don't think this will be an issue. There is also a neck strap provided that you must attach to the item yourself, but it is fully adjustable and quite adequate. The binoculars have a nice weight to them and are crystal clear. Very nice optics that are easy to adjust. There is an individual focus on the right lens and a rocking center focus that has a nice snug feel to it. The prisms were aligned perfectly and I am more than satisfied as far as the value. I would highly recommend this item for someone looking to buy a pair of binoculars on a budget.

Even though I have only had these for a week, I am very pleased with them. They are as "bright" as I had hoped and I LOVE the instafocus lever over the usual roller-ballI focus. I love the fact that I can take off the front caliper cap and they can be used on a tri-pod. Fantastic for the price. I only wish the neck strap were a bit wider, but will not complain or reduce my overall score due to this simple issue. Love them and highly recommend them for the price.

These are not for close viewing - I have a bird feeder about 40 feet away and these are not able to focus in that close.

I only wish I could take a picture through them! I know there are complaints about the lens covers, but honestly, I leave them in the case when I go out and have never had a problem. I've left them in the car - and it's 100 degrees in the shade - covered, and never had an issue with them.

I already had a pair without any adjustment, but these let me adjust for the days my older eyes don't want to work so well. They are crisp, clear images. Weight is an issue for me, and these aren't so heavy that they become unmanageable. With all the snow, I haven't been able to use them much, since I got them for star gazing & snow comes with a lot of clouds. I like that the lens caps come off entirely, since my other pair has a strap attaching the larger ones, which only get in the way all the time. For the price, you can't beat them. I should have gotten these first. There's a carrying case and neck strap, with lens cloth -- a LOT for your money -- plus the Bushnell reputation for quality no matter what the price you paid. All in all, a very satisfying purchase. I did check out our local woods when they arrived, and branches were so clear you could almost touch them, so I assume they would do for birding also.

First time buy/owner of a 60x60 binoculars and I was not disappointed at all. Was hesitant due to some negative reviews, but mine came in prestine shape and excellent working condition. Needed right away for a sporting event in which I was going to be seated far away. My friend that came along with me was impressed and might get one himself too. Must get for anyone looking for a high quality, easy to use binocular. The InstaFocus lever on this binocular made it more convienent than past binoculars I've used/own.
