This is a relatively cheap and simple way to do sandblasting. I use it for gunsmithing. I'm a hobbyist and I don't have the means to setup a whole professional blast cabinet. So I purchased this. The gravity feeder is okay but doesn't give a steady flow. But it's fine for small simple projects. However, the feeding tube works pretty good and you only have to move it every so often. Overall, I've refinished numerous guns with this and it works well. I can't complain.

There's a history behind everything and though you will likely never know that history, it's fun to imagine. This sandblaster is great for getting all the paint, varnish, rust, etc. off items in such a short time, compared to hand sanding everything. It let's you get to the fun part of the project so much faster! You will regret not getting one of these.

Im hoping to get some good use out of this product. I used very fine abrasive blast media in the hopper. It is a small hopper but it worked for what I was doing it was nice to be portable. It also came with safety glasses which was nice. It was so easy to use and it seems to be a high quality product so it should last if properly taken care of. When I bought it I was wondering how powerful it really is and how much it really took off rust. I got it out today and I put it to the test and it did function well but I kinda had to feather the valve on it to really run and be fully effective with the item it really didn’t want to spit it out 100% of the time being used.. I was running clean media through it and I tried 3 different types of media through it to. Small to medium rust it will take off but the really, really hard rust it didn’t clear it. This is great for small to medium sized jobs. I was impressed with the results that it made for the money paid out.

I wasn't sure a sandblaster this inexpensive wouldn't end up as expensive junk in my shop, but I was wrong. Used the walnut shell medium and tested it out last night on several rusty hand tools, a rusty shovel, and (just out of curiosity) a painted stone yard statue where the paint was flaking off and it looked terrible. Worked really well on everything I tried. The yard statue is perfectly prepped for a new coat of paint. I'm handy, not crafty, but if that's what you wanted this for, I suspect it would be very helpful, and about as easy to use as a glue gun. Be sure to wear gloves and eye protection--this is a real tool, not a toy, and from a long ago experience, you do not want to learn how it feels to hit your fingers while spraying. All in all, this is a total win. When it gets warmer, I'll use it to clean up some old metal lawn furniture. If my opinion changes any, I'll update my review, but on first use, 5/5.

I am loving this sandblaster! I will most likely use this as gravity fed because the vast majority of my projects will be smaller DIY work, but the great part is that if I am doing any body work or any large piece that will require more I can use the siphon feed as well!!! Having that kind of versatility in one package is really what someone like me needs. I have limited space in my garage workshop and I can't afford to have multiple tools that are providing a similar function.
