There is a filter to change every 6 month, the fan is noisy even at low speed. not much difference that to put water on a fan... overall I'm disappointed with this product.. Nothing to do with the seller. but.. The packaging is a plastic warp with a heavier plastic filled with plastic zip lock bag .. this unit had the plastic water container bend a little from shipping. Packaging could be better.
