   This pet/kid gate works amazingly well and I love that I can block off 2 different areas (not at the same time though). We got this to keep our dog in our kitchen when we are gone but also we needed a gate to keep her from going in our basement. This is a perfect solution. It took my husband about 30 min to install. The ruler on the box is really nice to ensure the proper height of the hardware installation. Included is a few spacers to adjust for trim width discrepancies and we had to uninstall once to add another spacer. I think it’s esthetically pleasing as well with the rose gold tones.

   Has worked out really well for us. The space we needed to close off was wider than most traditional baby gates. Others were just so bulky. We love this gate because it keeps our very active toddler from falling down the stairs, and when it’s open, you can’t even see that there’s a gate there because it rolls up against the wall. It does require two hands to open, but this hasn’t been an issue in our case. By baby is very active so this is much helpfull for us.

But my dogs just need a gentle reminder that the office is off limits. As some reviewers suggested, I tossed the stick-on hooks that came with it and used Command hooks that don't damage a wall.

   This is a good barrier to use on my balcony to section off a portion of it for my dog who is senior and has poor eyesight. She loves to be outside so she can come in and go out anytime she wants without me having to worry that she is getting into something that could hurt her. I may need to use some glue on the hooks because the adhesive may not last, but for now all is good. It does what I need at a very good price.

   We were using an Ironing board to keep out dog from going upstairs (all carpeted) and that was an eye soar. We decided to get the mesh gate which was much better. We had to pull the bottom taught so our dog wouldn't go under it. we modified the top clip with a key chain ring to easily remove and replace making it easy to go up and down the stairs. The glued clips are strong and hold the net firmly in place but one did come off as my daughter decided to walk over it and her foot got caught. The clip didn't stay so well after that but we used a Command Strip from another clip and placed it on this clip and worked out great. We love the gate and no more eye soar.
