This really does keep my water bottles cold on my desk. However, after a week or two it started developing a rattle when it is turned on. After a minute if I hit the top of the machine a few times it will stop. I have taken it apart and the fan is actually quite quiet. As I put it back together the rattle only happens when I screw the plastic outer shell back to the inside assembly. I am at a loss to figure out what is causing the problem.

I just add as much water as I can without overflowing the aluminum cup. The fan is quiet only exhaust is only warm. I cannot have your temperature gauge but the peltier plate gets very cold. If you add a little water to the surface ice will form. I take my monster energy drink out of the fridge in the morning and then directly place it in this machine and it stays as cold as my fridge. All day for as long as I want!
TLDR: great machine to KEEP your drinks cold. It's takes a while to go from took temp to cold. ALWAYS use the provided aluminum cup. I recommend this product

It's very easy to use with one button and a led light to indicate on or off. It has a small fan in it that does make a bit of noise but it's not that bad. Your drink won't be kept as cold as your refrigerator, but its still pretty cold and a lot colder than just sitting out on a table or desktop.
