We bought another booster, but it just wasn’t small enough to fit. We bought a small inflatable booster, but it didn’t feel safe for everyday use, and my son said it wasn’t comfortable. Then someone recommended the HiFold, and I am impressed. Setup took about 5 minutes once I read the manual, the seat adjusts well to fit my son, and, best of all, leaves plenty of room to buckle in a 3 across situation! He says it’s comfortable to sit in, the adjustments are great, and I’m really looking forward to being able to fold it when we’re traveling.

She was tired of her high chair and would fuss like crazy to get out and didn't eat her food. She just wanted to sit with us at the table. I looked everywhere for something to resolve the problem and nothing looked safe or wasnt what I was looking for, until I came across this. It's so easy to use and it really stores so well. We've taken it to many restauraunts, friends homes, and we use it 3 times a day at home. It doesn't sag, or sink or shift for us (but my daughter is only 25-26 lbs). It cleans well too (even with spaghetti sauce on it). It's nice to have my kid buckled in at the dinner table and when we go out to eat. The booster seats at restaurants are not sturdy or safe imo, so this gives me peace of mind as well. I always recommend this to parents who need to transition from high chair to the table.

He can’t buckle himself in yet, but he can unbuckle himself out when the car has stopped. Another reason why I love this is because of all of the space it saves in the back seat. I love two things about this new Hifold seat. I already owned a few mifolds for my older kids and was pleasantly surprised when the Hifold hit the market. You can adjust everything so it fits the kid even when the kid is in the seat. And, when I want to remove the seat so the dogs can sit in the back, it folds down quickly and really small. My current seat is a nightmare. Every time I change the height (which is the only thing you can change) we have to get the kid out. It's also too big to go into the truck when we want it out of the way. This Hifold I can throw in the truck easily or even just put on the floor of the car. I highly recommend the Hifold.

Kiddo has been begging me to take him on a train ride down to San Diego to visit Grandma. Problem is that once we get there she doesn't have a car seat for him (he's a very petite 7 yr old). This worked great as a travel seat, much easier than trying to lug his actual car seat around, and way safer than just having him buckle up without one all together in Grandma's car.
When not traveling, I keep it in my trunk incase we need to give one of his friends a ride somewhere. That way we have a seat for them as well. California kid seat laws are pretty strict so I feel better having this on hand just in case.
What I dont use it for is everyday use though. I can't speak to durability or long term comfort, just that it is super convenient as a travel or back up seat.
