Easily retractable, It is pressure-mounted with rubber bumpers so as not to damage the walls. Due to its flexibility, it can be used for multiple door or passage sizes. The instructions explain which rod belongs where and well, you just have to read it 😉 The stability is perfectly fine for the price. The assembly was easy - three holes have to be made. Agile thing he is he can still get under so I wouldnt recomend if your dogs a good escape artist or small but otherwise this is amazing and would probably use it for kids or bigger dogs in the future. It still made it so he cant get up and break my blinds pulling them down when getting up yet he can still get into his window. So yay.
