   This tool is a life saver! My smallest dog has been marked for poor hygiene and at only 4 years old his molars are worse than my 11 year olds. His molars are completely covered in thick tartar and a cleaning for his size costs over $2k. I have to get his teeth cleaned about every 2 years. Since getting this tool I clean his teeth a couple times a week and the difference is incredible and his teeth are now pearly white where I can get the tartar off.

The rawhide bones mostly keep the rest of his teeth clean but they do not help his canine teeth. I gently push up on his gums and pull the tool down and it easily breaks up the plaque. My rescue dog's canine teeth had the most horrible black stains that came off the first time I used this product!! Both of my dogs have some buildup on their molars that I'm slowly removing - definitely hard to get down to the molars, but definitely worth it.
