It’s visually stunning and can’t help but make you consider the wonders of the world.I made the mistake of trying to buy a cheaper version on another website first and was sorely disappointed. The website specifically said it contained the actual elements but when it arrived, it obviously didn’t. It only had pictures of the elements etched onto it. Researching a bit more, apparently this is very common. This one by Engineered Labs is the safest bet you can make! Don’t make the same mistake I did, just get this one!

   It’s got little bits of all the stable elements, with the caveat that a few (the halogens, actinides, mercury, and some of the alkali metals) are in compound form. Absolutely worth the asking price, although I’d have preferred to see the alkali metals and mercury as pure elements. A few of the included solid elements like osmium and iridium were provided in dust form, and unfortunately these squares are just as bubbly as the gases which detracts from the viewing. For the price these are minor quibbles, although I feel that this product would be greatly improved by addressing them.

   I was impressed with the quality of this product. I was initially concerned about the product after reading some of the similar product reviews stating that there are bubbles or other dust/particles being in the acrylic. My product was without any of these imperfections. All of the representative samples for each of the atoms were placed spot on in the center of each intended position. The seller had fast delivery of a quality product with an accurate, detailed item description. I will order another one shortly for a friend's gift. Thanks.

   I am very happy with this product, it is like a miniature work of art! I chose this myself for my wife to give me on my birthday. I saw an ad for a cheap, knock-off version, and liked the idea. Fortunately I did my research and discovered that I would not have been happy with the cheaper rendition. At that time, I discovered and ordered the original, U.S.A. made version of the periodic table. I could not be more pleased with the product. I was prepared for the smallish size of the table, and did not find this to be a distraction and it makes it easier to handle. A magnifier (especially a smart phone app) is extremely useful. It now sits in my china cabinet on a plate display. Well worth the price - beware of cheap knock-offs.
