   We prefer the light show without the dome. We feel the dome blurs the colors too much. The effect is quite nice. You need to be able to position the unit thoughtfully for best effect. It needs to be fairly centered under the ceiling, and not too far away or it will spread and blur. Recommended. Now, we find out how long it lasts!

Although it somewhat jams like “trips” or “skips” when changing colors, it’s great to use when on a solid color for sleep. If the rotation didn’t jam up when changing colors I’d use that pattern more, but it has other colors I could use so I’d give it that. Primary colors are red green blue and white(?) for solid colors. Love the red and blue when sleeping. Would use the speaker feature more if it were Bluetooth (have to always use an adapter for the iPhone 7 to use the jack). All in all good product for sleeping.

   We have a 60" picture in our dining area depicting many beautiful colors of buds opening to become flowers. When we click on the button of the remote that says 'Aurora' and the moving light goes over the picture it is stunning; I just keep watching and seeing new colors I didn't notice before. The remote also has a stop button if you choose to have the light stationery in one position. The lamp itself is not positional. As others in the reviews,have said the lighting is much prettier and brighter without the top on. We would definitely buy this again.

   Lights and buttons worked great! But the bad news is that the globe snapped off of the base within the first 10 minutes of use. Also the rca cable makes a crackling noise if not positioned correctly. Let's hope the second one I purchased works better. UPDATE!! SOAIY contacted me promptly about my review. They sent me a replacement that works perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the product and the company. They are on the spot with the customer service!

   We got this as a gift for our son, and he loves it! It was super easy to set up and figure out how to use, and it looks so cool. With the dome on it makes a great night light, but our son prefers the dome of so he can see the lights moving around on the ceiling. Would 100% recommend this!

   We bought an older version of this for my daughter who still uses it to this day so when we discovered a newer version with a remote we had to get it for our son. This works great for keeping them in bed and soothing for them to watch as they fall asleep. The remote makes it much easier. We especially like that it has a timer so you don’t have to let it run all night. The design is solid so my son can grab it and play with it without breaking. Great product!!

   We use this projector as a night light. I love that you can set it on a timer, love that you can change the colors, and love that you can connect white noise to it. I do wish that it had a bluetooth connection instead of a cord one, but c'est la vie. We keep the remote just outside of our child's room and turn it off from a distance--so nice to not have to go inside the room and turn it off and risk waking her up.

   Really cool effects, but please note that you will only get the effects seen in the product photos WITH THE COVER TAKEN OFF. It pops off super easily, and then you’ve got a snazzy light show. The remote is a nice touch, giving you complete control over the color/brightness/timer/etc. I haven’t tried it with sound yet, but the projector is pretty light and the speaker area is kinda small. So I wouldn’t expect pro-quality audio.

   The nightlight is great. I recommend keeping the tip cap off as it illuminates much better. A few different spectacular patterns and my kids love falling asleep to it. Now the unit broke after about 70 days, which is after amazon let's you return it. I contacted the company directly and they immediately sent me a replacement for free. In today's day and age, I absolutely adore a company that stands by their product. So far, so good.

If you have the dome on, it is not very bright, but if you take the dome off, it is very bright,plus speakers work great. It is very relaxing to lay in the dark, watching the colors swirl around on the ceiling with soft sounds playing.
