I bought this clipper to replace the wired Wahl that I have used for many years, especially for the price, rechargeable, and with an adjustable blade guide. I haven't seen if the guide can be deleted, but I don't need to be closer than the minimum setting of 3mm.

They don't get that close smooth shave that you get with a good razor but it was close and he was satisfied with it. The trimmer is very easy to use and the charge lasts a long time. It is light weight and doesn't make your hand cramp up while using it, the trimmer is smaller and easier to handle than our Wahl shaver/trimmer. it comes with three different size guards. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good trimmer.
