Works much better than I expected. The cleaning solution is the key. Plain water and dishwashing liquid. The amount of dishwashing liquid is the trick. A couple of cups of water in a shallow pan or dish. Add enough dishwashing liquid until the water feels slippery between your fingers very important. Wet the windows. Make sure the squeegee side of the tool is vertical on the glass. The bottom end of the squeegee must be angled slightly away from the direction of travel. My first attempt was not very successful. Not enough dish liquid. The dish liquid acts as a lubricant. I just love this thing.

OMG this is worth the money! I just cleaned 2 of my upstairs windows in no time flat! I have 1" double pane windows, and had no problem with the two sides coming apart. Start at the top (you might spray a little water or cleaner up there first so the first pass doesn't drag) and work your way across, back and forth, so it squeegees the window dry as you clean. Wish I had one of these before! My windows would not have been so neglected!
