It was quite easy and the directions were good. Also, the kit included a large swatch of backing material which I was hoping for but couldn't quite tell in the product description.

   I am impressed with this product so far. I used it as directed on a lambskin jacket that was old and peeling. It left shiny areas as expected that were easily dulled with some rubbing alcohol (per instructions). Afterwards, I used a leather treatment product to blend the remaining shine. The treated areas have not peeled again. I was concerned the car seat would pull the material away from the jacket...not yet.

   Awesome kit. Great directions and exactly what I needed. I had a 3 inch split in the backrest of my truck seat. I followed directions to prepare the cut, put in backing, and mixed the color to match my shade of black. Applying using the spatula and filling in with the brush was simple and quick. Sure beats going to a repair shop!

Clean up the area with alcohol. scrub it a little cut your under patch and inject the filler. i waited a couple of days to sit on the seat to be sure it set up in the thicker areas. Scrubbed with a plastic scrub sponge to match the old. There is plenty left if I need to do more. Cant complain.

   Have black recliner that had significant wear on foot rest from normal use. The black leather-like fabric peeled away from the folded areas and crumbled leaving the inner tan fabric showing. The worn area was long and narrow. This product absolutely filled, covered and secured the worn area and you would never know it was ever damaged. Two applications did the trick. No mixing was needed either - the black from the tube matched perfectly and applied beautifully with the plastic spatula provided.

   Cats and leather are not a good mix. My friend’s favorite lounger had some picks, a scratch or two, and a "crease" spot that I said should be repaired before they got worse. I got this kit for him, and being his lounger is black, it was easy to "match" This product did a great job of concealing the spots and even under close inspection is very difficult to see the repairs. We both thought it was easy to use. I'll probably experiment with It too as I have a couple of beautiful and expensive handbags I would like to touch up. :)

   My comfortable office chair had developed a split in seat area. I didn't want it to spread and didn't want the repair to be too obvious when the chair was unoccupied. The repair kit solved both issues - sealing the tear, with the black blending in with the color of the seat. I decided to try it on another chair that was developing bare spots on the arms. It looks much better now and will let us extend the use of the chairs.

   This product worked perfectly! I had small tears in my couch from my dogs nails...None were big enough to want to buy large patches or that other patch tape that I saw on amazon. I can’t tell how it’ll hold up since I just patched them - but it looks great. You can barley tell unless you’re up close. I would definitely recommend.
