   I bought this harness a couple of years ago for my then 5yr old daughter to ride long haul trips on the motorcycle with me. We have been using it for such trips the past couple years. My daughter is now 7. Last week we left out on a trip and didn't make it out of town. Someone turned into us and hit us almost head on in our lane. My daughter and I were ejected from the bike and thrown over the vehicle that hit us. The police told me that the harness is what saved my daughter. Because of it, she could only go as far as I did and wasn't thrown an additional 20-30 ft away. And I took the brunt of the fall. My daughter ended up with a couple of cuts on her head and face and a black eye. No broken bones, no other trauma.
   When I returned home from the hospital I looked over the harness. It is fully in tact. No rips, no tears and no broken buckles. This is the best money I have ever spent on a safety device for her. I would recommend this product to anyone who is riding a motorcycle with their little behind them.
