I don't have a working ice maker so this mold an the couple others I have work great when I need ice. The balls are about the size of a ping pong ball.

   My results aren't as pretty as the photo but I've only used it once. I love the spherical Ice. It lasts longer before melting away, dilutes beverages less and keeps them cold longer. This product is the best I've found at releasing the ice. The flexible nature of the mold allows for easy twisting to break up the thin layer of ice connecting the balls. Much better than the plastic versions which break when you try to get the ice out. I'll get more soon because 4 isn't enough.
