This is my second grill and I love them. I am an ecologist and spend a lot of time in wilderness areas. The original one I bought lasted me all summer including 35 days in the mountains cooking on a small propane bottle. I was glad to eat healthy and I just bought this new one for my camping next year. They are easy to pack. I would just recommend to keep it oiled as you would cast iron to protect it. Excellent

These things are great! I used a friends once and ended up getting myself one and gifting 2 more. We have made burgers, steaks, grilled veggies, and basically anything else you would normally grill. We just fill the bottom ring with water, but Iv been told you can use flavorings that will steam into the food. The water keeps the ring cool and also prevents the food from becoming too dry while cooking. Very minor trial and error to get good results. And the non-stick coating actually works!

This is a great kitchen grill! I regularly enjoy Kalbi (Korean-style grilled short ribs) and this grill makes it possible for me to make Kalbi whenever I like without the fuss of the outdoors. A bit skeptical at first (I just can't imagine it generating the high heat needed to grill), my first attempts resulted in the meat TOO HARD! I now use it with the same sense of time as an outdoor charcoal grill. With the stove burner set to moderate heat, it can grill meat in just a few minutes. Don't worry about cleaning. The surface is not really "non-stick". How can it be at such a high temperature? Scrape the surface the same way you would an outdoor grill. It cleans well, although it does appear stained or pitted. Similar to your outdoor grill. I think it works better when using.
