   I have used this product for years and have recommended it to many people. It is a great product. Keloid scars form around 6 weeks after surgery or what ever insult to the integrity of the skin. Used 2 times a day, just a thin coat, start 2 weeks after stitches or what ever closure used on the wound through week 6-7. It flattens and takes away redness.    I recently had a mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction and had some complications outside of the normal scars associated with that surgery. In all, I use this on thicker, deeper scars that are probably about 3.5x3.5" in total size combining them. The tube will last me 2 months. I don't use it on my 2 foot stomach scar or on any scars that are healing as they should. I do still perform scar massage on all scars twice a day. For my thicker scars that resulted from complications, the gel keeps them hydrated so there aren't any additional unnecessary complications like blistering or cracking and they definitely have an improved appearance. I can't speak for scars improving in color or texture as I perform scar massage as well.

   I have tried many silicone scar sheets and gels, but this one is by far the best in terms of low mess, quick drying, and staying power. It only takes a little bit of product and it forms a thin, clear, odorless film over your scar that is not easily removed (for continued protection/treatment!) I have used competing products where the film rubs off almost instantly, so the product isn't able to be effective, or where the product will not dry or stains my clothes. Like most scar products, I'm sure this will need time to work, but I'm very excited to have found a product that I won't dread applying every day!

I bought it and started using it mid- March and in a month my ugly raised keloid scar that developed after an infection on my belly button piercing was almost completely gone. There’s a little flat scar but it’s not a raised bump anymore, and I think with a little more time/continued use, it will be completely gone. I’m so relieved I didn’t have to get some kind of surgery to remove the keloid, I definitely recommend this stuff!
