The warmth is wonderful my hand used to get so cold--but I added a soft cloth by pinning it to the top over the heat pad, it was to hot on my hand with just the nylon pouch. Very easy to correct the problem with the way the pad is designed. I would recommend it to anyone who hates the top of their hand feeling like an ice cube.
