If you have a similar issue use AP mode under more options this allows you to login to the wifi camera directly via wifi from phone to camera and you can setup the wifi that way.

I actually bought this cause I had a squirrel that kept getting into my garage and I wanted to see where it was coming in from and its great. love the features and view options and the way you can maneuver the view and spin it around its a real 360 degree view. This is super easy to set up all you need to do is install like a light bulb and connect to your wifi. The only down side is that the light switch always needs to be on obviously for the camera to work and if you have other lights on the switch them they all need to stay on and the night vision isn't the best. The light of the bulb isn't strong so wouldn't really rely on it for a good source of light. Overall this is a great product and probably will be ordering another.
