It’s small and works outside of cell phone range. I tend to recharge it before each excursion because it doesn’t hold a charge for weeks. I also make sure to open the app and make sure the device is paired before i leave home. Sometimes there’s an update that will take 30-40 minutes. Customer service is prompt about helping solve issues.
