Her ears are floppy and stayed decently in the hat piece which I was concerned would move alot and bother her. Cat is 9lbs and very thin neck, so I needed to pull the velcro really close so there is a flap around the back. For short term wear for laughs and cute pictures, it does the trick.

   First few times I tried the hat, he shook it off and hid from me. Next time I put the bodice on and that was surprisingly more tolerable to him. Once you get the legs in, there is a velcro strap around the neck to secure it. Once that was on, there's no shaking it off. The hat also has a strap that I couldn't figure out So I just set it on his head long enough to get a picture. There is a cape that comes with it but I forgot to put it on for the picture. I consider him a larger cat at 15 lbs and he's wearing a medium. Fits perfect! For the price, it was well worth it just for the laughs alone. I might have to get a new one every year, lol.

I dreamed of having real hands alas this outfit has flappy fake arms - they don’t even pick up your tuna! - the humans chuckled. Hat is mega yet flimsy.    I love it and made me laugh lots!! I use it for Halloween season, I took my dogs for walks with their costumes on. This pirate of the Caribbean costume was so good for my dog, he looks so good and handsome with it. I got a XL just for comfort and to be sure that it will fit my pet. The costume was very cute, the colors and combinations and accessories were excellent. My dog it's a medium size and I got XL for him, so the size run small unless it's for just small pets. I love the costume and I had lots of fun with it.

   This was the first time I had ever put clothes on my cat & let me tell you, this did not disappoint. Poppy is 14lbs & I purchased a medium. It was a little snug on her, but over all fit very well. The hat is a little wonky & would fall off when she walks but overall very good quality. Would recommend to anyone on the fence about purchasing. Quality is good, better than some costumes I've owned. Would purchase again.

   wanted a costume for my small terrier and saw this pirate outfit... Once it arrive, I tried it on my dog immediately, my wife came and burst into laughter. When he walks towards you it really looks like a little pirate coming your way. Way cute!!!! Highly recommended.... make sure you look at measurements to get the right fit. mine was prefect based on size charts provided.

   Loved this costume! It was such a hit at dog halloween party I went to. I purchased a medium and it fit true to size. My lhasa is a 15 pound dog with long legs and it couldn't have fit better. My little guy doesn't like hats and constantly tries to take them off but this costume comes with the ability to put their ears through and velcro under their chin which keeps it a little extra secure and I was even able to keep it on him for a good hour or so without having to re-adjust it. I wish the cape had an easier means to adjust it so that it would stay on the dog instead of sliding off to the side or dragging on the ground. I had to tie it in a knot close to my dogs neck but that became a pain when I had to undo it to take it off. Other than that it was such a cute costume, great price too!

   The sizing guide was really helpful and pretty accurate. The neck is a little large and the hat is also a little big but by wrapping the straps/Velcro areas we made it work. The pics were worth the price we paid for sure. Remy wasn’t thrilled wearing it but he didn’t freak out. He left it on for about 20 minutes which is fine with me. The quality is pretty good considering the lower price. Some stray threads but nothing structurally wrong with it at all. I can’t quite figure out the caps thing that came with it so I left it off. All in all we are pleasantly surprised and very happy with the overall quality! For reference we bought a medium for a 19 lb cavapoodle. He has an 11” neck, 17 inches neck to tail and 18” chest circumference. Small would have been too small.
