I originally bought a size S for my dog, but at 12lbs, the elastic (feet area of the costume) was too tight around her little pawsI I ended up reordering a size M and it fit her fine. I didn't send back the first costumer because it was going to cost almost as much to ship it back than it cost to buy it, so I will give it to someone else.

The cape doesn't stay on properly but pirates don't wear capes anyway so who cares? Even without the hat and cape, costume was still adorable and quite hilarious. The size small fit my 7.5-pound toy poodle with room to spare. It was a little wrinkled but was quickly and easily ironed. I feel the price is very reasonable.

So funny! I bought it as a joke since my boyfriend and I referred to our cat as our baby. So obviously he needed a Halloween costume. Does that cat like it, no, but he'll tolerate it long enough for pictures. The costume seems well made for the price. That hat will not stay on long and is probably my cat's least favorite part of the costume, but I'll attach a video showing it can stay on short periods of time. Happy with my purchase.
