This is a great little camera. I have it mounted behind the rear view mirror, with the power cable running up and towards the passenger door, then down and under the passenger seat, up through the center console and to the cigarette lighter. The wire was easily hidden underneath panels and trim. Suction mount has been very reliable, and has not fallen once (while secured to clean glass.) One thing you should know about, with regard to formatting the SD card (not included), is that you can format it directly from the dash camera. You do not need to do this from a home computer. I would recommend this as a great first dash cam.

In the beginning there was the small issue of the unit chiming every time it came on. The unit worked fine but the chime was annoying. After doing a little research I found that if I would email the company they would send a firmware patch that could be installed to stop the chime from coming on each time power was applied.

Set up super simple and wiring the power cable only takes about 5 minutes. It’s sort of set it and forget it- it turns on when your car turns on. Easy to save videos and change menu options too. Make sure to buy a micro SD card as well as one is not included but a 64GB card is less than $15. Apeman customer support is also great! One complaint is the suction cup can fall off in hot weather. Overall, and for the price, this is a nice compact dash cam.

Overall, I think this product is stellar given the size. I've been in the market for a small dash-cam that can be hidden in plain sight. It's small enough, works well if you're driving towards the sun light and clear images at night and aesthetically looks great in your car. It's not bulky telling the world "hey look at my dash-cam." My only issue is that loop recording is a bit confusing. My memory card ran out of space and I couldn't find the last file of where it last looped...so I wasn't sure if the loop recording worked...might only be an issue for long road trips, but for daily commutes it's fine and you can reformat the card to delete files right from the dash-cam if you have no crazy action or accidents.

Has many features such as the G-sensor which detects any type of collision or bump you may experience and will automatically turn on and lock the video so that the recording is secure. Has a microphone which you can turn on or off. This camera also comes with two different length charger cables depending on your car. I personally use the longer one so that I could hide my cables throughout my car. You will need to buy an SD card. Overall, this camera works as it should and I have no complaints. The size may make you think it would have lesser quality but I have the larger model dashcam as well and I would say they are equal in resolution and quality.

First of all it is super easy to install, wire is long enough to hide under car panel, full HD, super wide angle give crisp and decent video quality. Clamp quality is good and holds well even on bumpy roads. User interface is simple, light weight still built quality is good and there are settings given to adjust or rotate camera. Small size gives a nice camouflage behind the windshield. WIFI & higher storage would have been an add-on but camera still justifies its worth. Must buy for regular dash cam usage.

When it arrived I hooked it up and went for a little drive around the neighborhood to give it a test. This is a very nice little camera with a good quality picture. I didn't need anything fancy so don't expect a whole ton of features. They say that the camera can only handle a 32gb SD at the max, but I put a 64gb SD card in it and it functions just fine. Sometimes I'm a little skeptical about some of the lower cost items with 5 stars because they are not what the reviews state, but buy with confidence that this camera is great

The only thing I noticed is when driving in the sun direction I get the sun reflection which creates sort of a ring in the middle of the video otherwise very happy with it that I purchased a second one as a gift to my friend for x-mas. I highly recommend it
