Didn't have to drill any extra holes like I've seen on way more expensive ones in online reviews. Took a couple of minutes to assemble the first time. If there was instructions, I didn't see them. I'm a dude, we are blind to that kind of stuff. Regardless, the next few times it got easier, once i figured out a system. Very strong and sturdy. When disassembled, it stacks up nice and flat and takes up very little space. Comes with a carry pouch so you don't dirty up you pack.
