Description

Fish Stool Suction Collector

Benefit:

High Quality: This fish stool suction collector is made of high-quality Acrylic material, which is durable and has a longer service life than others.

Automatically Maintain Clean Aquarium Tank: The Fish Stool Suction Collector is a 3-in-1 pump that works as a filtration, oxygenation, and stool collector device.

The device uses a pneumatic principle, filtering water in the tank to contain fish waste and impurities in the middle compartment and releasing clean water back out to the tank. No More Frequent Maintenance: With a cleaner aquarium, it would reduce the need for frequent water changes and gravel cleaning.

Fish Stool Suction Collector

With the fish waste contained, it reduces water pollution and bad-smelling odor too. Effortlessly Maintain A Clean Aquarium Environment for Thriving Aqua Life with Fish Stool Suction Collector! Easy Installation: Simply plug the device into an air pump and place it in the aquarium tank.

Fish Stool Suction Collector

Once the middle compartment is filled with fish waste, simply remove and clean it before placing it back in the aquarium tank. Biological Filter Ball: The device has a biological filter ball at the bottom of the cylinder which boosts the growth of nitrifying bacteria, which is required for the nitrogen cycle.

My city water recently have added something in the water and it contains ammonia. Because of that, it killed most of my fish. I've brought this and my new fishes are doing quite well for over 2 months.

Has been up and running for over three weeks now. Media is tumbling well. I added a little K1 micro that I had. I also left the sponge out as I want this to be a totally maintenance free filter. It looks nice in the tank, much better than the home made filters I tried. The green glass looks like it belongs in the aquarium. Stick a plant in front of it and you can hardly see it. All in all, a great little biological filter. Wish they made a bigger size. UPDATE: I replaced all original media with k1 micro. It seemed like the original stuff didn't tumble as well as it matured. Also drilled a hole in the center of air stone to get more bubble action. That works better I think.

So far, so good! It does what its supposed to do. I would put micro k1 in, instead of the stuff it comes with. It seems to just sink when bacteria is present. The sponges is perfect, unless you run big fish, it may clog I've been running for a month and took look at the spong and not much there. We know it's not a mechanical filter. Other then that maybe try to find an alternative to the suction cups in the later future. The Sponge chamber is twist and lock and the top is press fit. It's pretty sturdy. No worries about the top coming off and the media spilling into your tank. Mine is a bio back up that I'll probably clean the sponge every few months. Easy as pie and I like to watch the media flow...

I was instantly drawn to the product as you can submerge it! I also loved the green color as its easy to blend in with decor. I no longer have the loud ugly filters hanging. I am using 4 if the 9" in my 125 gallon tank, so far very pleased but haven't had them long enough to know how well they work so I'll update later on. Im hoping 4 will do the trick! I did have a little trouble getting the tubing to fit on but was able to finally get it to fit and know it'll stay snug! So far im happy with the product and recommend you give it a try and see for yourself!

Love this filter. The media in mine had stopped rotating so i emailed them and their support team helped me fix it. To do this you need to clean the L shaped connector and the airstone. Put half a cup of water in the microwave for 1 min to heat up then put one tablespoon of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of vinegar until it starts fizzing up and then drop the airstone in there and leave it in there for 4 to 6 hours until you rinse them under hot water and put it all back together (:

This product appears to be functioning correctly. I haven't taken any readings, of the tank water yet, but it appears the water quality has improved. The Fish don't seem to mind it being in their environment, so if they're okay with it, I am too.

This looks and functions so much better than my homemade 1 litter bottle reactor. That was until the air stone output dropped dramatically after about 3 days. It isn't the air pump, and the inlet doesn't seem clogged. I did dial my air back so maybe it became watter logged. 2 days at full and it still hasn't cleared, sadly.
