   This remote control helicopter was exactly what my grandson wanted for his birthday and when he opened it he was not disappointed. His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and he immediately charged it. I liked it because it was easy for him to fly being a beginner. This helicopter is perfect and very durable and for an 8 year old he of giving it a run for its money. He is now flying it all over the house and outdoors he is so happy with it. We are extremely pleased.

   Bought this for a young niece in the hope it would be stable and easy to fly. Overall, it's very stable, it has an altitude hold function. The throttle is different from what I'm used to in other RC helicopters. Usually, the left knob is the throttle and down is off and up is increasing power. This controller is spring loaded to neutral. It's as if each press up or down gives or takes a 'shot' of power/altitude, and then the copter goes back into altitude hold. So, different from previous experience, but perhaps useful for a beginner. The right knob serves to rotate the copter and drive it forward or backward. After a little bit of experience my niece was able to somewhat fly it around. The biggest complaint is that when I would land it, it didn't want to turn off/spool down. Overall, a stable good copter for beginners, but definitely with some quirks which I think involve the automatic functions.

   This has by far exceeded our expectations at this price point. We are no professional flyers - we simply wanted a remote control helicopter to entertain us & the kids. It's been stuck in a tree, fallen from the roof, and ran into the ceiling countless times. It's very durable. The only con to this is the battery life - it's not good for entertaining more than 20 minutes.

   My 7 yr. old grandson could work the remote control on this helicopter and it wasn’t too complicated. Just right for beginners (who also have experience using remote control for gaming). It is durable and didn’t fall apart if it crashed. When battery was low (it flies for about 5 minutes but this was just fine for my grandson) the helicopter would gently descend to the ground.
