   My children have Super Lice, not regular lice. Over the counter products are a waste of time and money. Tea tree oil mixed with olive oil kinda works but it's very messy. I have bought tons of shower caps. The only thing I was told from a woman who works at the Lice Clinic of America, is that the main ingredient that kills these Super Lice is 100% Dimethicone oil. It comes in the Ladibugs Elimination Kit which is ok maybe for one person. You only get 4 oz in the kit and I was told you need at least 32oz or more. I found it listed here and on eBay. We've been doing the dimethicone every day and using a lice comb. But I still can't get the nits. It's very frustrating! I saw this V-Comb went ahead and got one. Wow! It is so amazing! I can't believe how easy it is to use and how many nits I was able to remove. I wish I would have found this V-Comb sooner! I highly recommend it and dimethicone oil. These Super Lice don't have a chance in my house now!

   The granddaughters came to visit and they were just getting over an infestation of head lice. I purchased this comb and went through their hair about every 4 days. It works surprisingly well and I was very pleased with it. I like the little receptacle because you can see what you got with a comb as it falls into the receptacle. Also I feel like any eggs or lice are less likely to fall on me or on the carpet.

   I've been battling lice for 3 months with my 6 year old daughter and I swear to you I was ready to shave her head. This is the best thing ever. Granted you're chasing little bugs so we have to use this several times. This has really brought hope and sanity back into my life. I suggest just buying the extra filters now. I also suggest buying Lice Trap shampoo, I think its an enzyme shampoo, and the bugs were practically jumping off her. I found that at a local eco-health store. Also buy some household spray that way you can avoid washing everything everyday. I hope this helps someone. Good Luck!

   I don't normally leave reviews on products but I HAVE TO on this product. My daughter came home one day and was infested. She thought it was dandruff so just used her dad's dandruff shampoo and didn't tell us. Anyway, long story short, it took some time and multiple treatments but this comb, hands down, was the only thing that saved my daughter from the buzz cutters. She went from infested with nits on every strand of hair to clear. it will not get them all out in one comb thru, but it will work faster than any standard comb. And it's super easy to clean up after. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, and have to all my friends already.

   I was skeptical until I used this product. My children have repeatedly had lice during this school year. I was tired of putting chemicals on their scalp which didn't work. I even asked my doctor for a prescription that didn't have the needed relief. The sad reality is lice aren't what my my son had 15-ish years ago. Now, we have "super lice" and trust me when I say they are resilient and don't die very easily. This seems pricey until I added all the lice treatments up. Basically make sure that the child's hair is combed out with a fine toothed comb first. Go slow with small sections of hair at a time. The vacuum suction does the rest. If there is an area with heavy numbers of eggs you may have to go over this space more than once.

   Mine was wonderful! I couldn't get rid of them!!! I tried and tried for months spent a lot of money on various treatments that was not working!!! This is a vacuum that vacuums them out of your hair... it is easy to put through the oily hair and the regular and thin hair... use this once a day and you will get results! The more you do it the better results you will get. I skipped a day and still had way less than the first day I used it. The comb doesn't hurt and it has an adjustable handle so you could adjust the angle if needed!

   This year has been terrible for lice at my daughter's school and sadly, all if the regular treatments just weren't doing the trick. We were not prepared for this epidemic of super lice and our growing frustration with the reoccurring problem was only matched by the growing dollar amount we were spending to try and solve the problem. Out of desperation I started looking at alternatives and came across this product. It works. Plain and simple, it works. With regular use, we are winning the fight against Super Lice. I do wish the refills weren't quite so expensive or at least have the option for reusable filters, but I understand it is a business and we are coming out cheaper in the long run.
