The small bits are the hardest to do (3/32"), while the large pointed drill bits and masonry bits were easy to put a sharp cutting edge back on. used a 60 power loupe to see the edges and have been quite pleased with the results. Will recommend this to others. Ordered the back up grinding wheel due to current availability.

I have to add my voice to the chorus. I had to pop rivet two pieces of Plexiglas together. I have two 1/8th drills. I tried drilling though a scrap piece and it cracked before the drill started drilling. I ran the drill through the recommended sharpening procedure and the next try produced two nice curly chips and resulted in a clean hole. I should have researched the best drill point angle for plastic first. Maybe next time.

I'm almost 74 been in the machine shop since I was 14, I have seen at least 40 different so called "Drill sharping machines" this is the first one I have used that really and truly works. I kept looking for a flaw over and over and when I thought I had found one, I looked in the instructions and found out it was ME who was wrong. To do a regular sharping of a drill bit is only 3-5 min. then to split the end could be another 5 plus min. I have found counting seconds each side works well for me. "Big one" when splitting the tip ether have really really really good eyes or go on Amazon an buy the strongest magnifying desk lamp they sell. I guess what kind of got me was when the man they could "split the tip" I had full intention trying it and sending it back. This thing is really tight and really does what they say. P.S. IT IS NOT GOING BACK!!!!!

I know a lot of people hate this product and I know a lot of people say that you should just go on ahead and use your grinder and make a better job of it. But this has a very good technology in it and is easy to use for my technicians they have a standard size that we use but it's not a standard size we can buy in bulk of bits so using this item really helps out for damaging drill bits that they use.
