   So cute! Got this for my mother for Christmas! Put batteries in it right away and love it. Agree with some reviews it is a bit on the loud side with no volume control and the beads on the string are missing on it so the santa knows where to stop and go back down, normal for such an inexpensive holiday joy! Definitely recommended for anyone with holiday spirit! Would definitely buy again for me or as a gift!

   I love this Santa and I think my grandkids love it more but not sure how that could be possible even friends that has seen it have loved it. The chain is NOT defected (where the gap of no chain) as I have seen as comments on here, it is the "turn around" when the Santa goes back down the chain. The only thing I think could change is its loud but I put a piece of tape over the speaker so its not as loud. I have it hanging/attached on my ceiling fan chain. I think you will love this Santa too.

   We love this decoration. It works great and is alarmingly accurate in its movements. Santa just goes up and down the ladder, but the figure moves so realistically, I might expect Santa to get off the ladder and walk around benevolently hanging Christmas lights and playing music. Nothing like the "Talking Tina" episode from the old 'Twilight Zone' TV program, but we thought it a very good idea to treat Santa nice and leave milk and cookies. That last part is not in the instructions, but should be. This is a very clever decoration, and you will enjoy it.

It took a few minutes of trying different positions for the Santa bag to finally find the perfect spot so the lights wouldn't interfere with Santa's movements but since doing it no problems.
