   I have a cat that is smart enough to open our doors. I didn’t mind it much since I was leaving most doors open anyways, but with a baby on the way I wanted to keep the cats out of our bedroom and the nursery and she constantly opened the door to the garage which was really annoying. I was worried about how these would work because the levers on our doors go down on both sides when you open the door, so I thought we might not be able to use it on the garage or while we were in the bedroom, but we just leave the stopper under the handle out and the one above the handle open so that she can’t pull the lever down but we can pull it up to open the door. It’s been perfect for us

   These were easy to install and my younger one (3yo) couldn't figure it out. My 4.5 year old was able to though. To remove, I suggest just using a hair dryer and blowing it (using high heat) behind/on the edge of the Tuut lock for a few minutes, then sliding a credit card behind it to loosen the adhesive. GENTLY pull the lock away from the door. If it doesn't come away easily, use the blow dryer a few more minutes and slide the credit card behind again. Do this 2 or 3 times and it'll come off, leaving just a little residue behind. The rest can be scraped with a fingernail or by using some Goo Gone.
