It’s a good size for me with my tiny hands and doesn’t grab too much hair at once. It also comes with a glove to use to prevent any burns, which is nice. The lock mechanism is really easy to use and won’t unhook in your bag on accident, you have to slide the lever on the bottom while squeezing the plates together. Overall this is a really great, inexpensive straightener and I’d recommend it!

There were complaints about the locking mechanism that keeps the iron together when not in use. I found that the locking mechanism works just fine and was not difficult to use. Again, great product.
