This is really good. Both of my cats(aged three and 12) are on the green litter tray. They have been learning for seven weeks and are on track. We used the cardboard method when switching from red to Orange as the jump was a bit large, this method worked very well and I would recommend it to others who do not wish to Purchase the multi trays. although we have had the occasional accident - persistence is the key. The tray itself is sturdy and it comes with multiple clips. on my toilet we only used half of the clips as it seemed to fit better, some people glue them as as they can fall out however I havnt found it a problem. Since buying the tray we have only bought two bags of litter and this is probably all we will need with only one week to go.

She would use the floor if she felt the toilet wasn't clean enough. However madam didn't even attempt to use the hole. So we were pushed to the extreme. On the amber stage, the cat sand are scratched onto the floor. If you are notoriously clean it will drive you mad. Even though we had to go at the cat' space, we've moved to the green stage. Madam was very reluctant to use it, but we praised her a lot and spoke with her. Ever since she used it the first time, there is not turning back. Both cats are using the hole. The green stage is far less messy. No mor cat sand on the floor, don't need to clean it as often as they use the hole more often. Be warned.... Have a lot of treats ready to help your cat. This toilet is worth the while. Would definitely recommend it.

my older cat hardy has always had issues doing his business in the litter trays. he seems to think cos his feet are in the tray so is his butt... sadly most of the time this isn't true... as this is a smaller tray all i can say is he spreads his wee all over the place still, lol. hes more of a hit or miss kinda boy. tho hes still using it up on the toilet. i have no great hope he will work that out. hes done it all his life. no idea how to sort that.

He's always had trouble with going in the right places; my bed was a favourite place to go to the bathroom as well as whatever bags and clothes I had on the floor.
My cat had flipped the litter box over twice by accident as he always stands with his front legs on the edge of the box.
The toilet seat frame fits perfectly over my toilet bowl, although the clips do come off when I take the seat off. I only have one toilet in my apartment so we have 2 adults and 1 cat sharing the same toilet. It's easy to remove, and if you hold the frame at the clips, the clips usually stay on.
The inserts are strong and even my fat cat wont bend it, although the jump from red stage to amber stage made me nervous since it is a very big difference, and my cat noticed. After 6 weeks, my litterbox-incompetent cat is fully toilet trained! Silly thing is that the water level in my toilet doesnt go high enough to cover the poop that he leaves on the side of the toilet bowl...

This is an excellent idea. It took 4 weeks to train my cat (now, to be fair he is a siamese cat and they are known for being very clever... I'm sure that I was incredibly lucky to do it that quickly).
I love the fact that there is no litter strewn around the floor - all I do when I come in from work is flush the loo and give the bowl a scrub if needed.
If it's taking a while with your cat, just bear in mind that this is not an instinctive behaviour for them. Don't give up, remain calm and patient.

This product is a great invention! so easy to understand how the cat or kitten would adapt - patience is required, especially if there is just one main bathroom in the house/apartment but definitely worth any inconvenience as this only lasts for a few weeks!
This is a sturdy product and will stay in place properly until it is removed, which is also a simple procedure.
The cat doesn't seem to be phased by this system, he just adapted immediately, and he is quite a stubborn little rascal :)
Delivery was quick although perhaps over wrapped, while I understand this is to prevent damage during transit, some parcel motel lockers are quite small and this had to be collected from the depot, thankfully it was not to far away!
All being said, this is a great product, well made and no assembly to speak of! I would highly recommend this product.
