   Never heard of this thing, didn't read any reviews on it. Went to my local CVS to by a callus remover and the PediSpin caught my eye. I NEVER buy anything that says as seen on TV but I figured I'd give it a shot. Took it home, read the reviews and I figured I'd try it anyway... YES it's very pressure sensitive but it WORKS!!! If it allowed any more pressure it would shave the skin off your body!!! I thought it worked wonderfully ! And my rough callused skin is gone! It had been bothering me since the summer and the pumice stone wasn't cutting it! Glad I bought this little thingy majigger! If you don't have a steady hand, this isn't for you!

   I just got it at the checkout place of Michaels. I soaked my feet for a little while, because that's what they do at the spa pedi place, so I think it helps to soften the skin first. The rotating speed is very fast and I only need the low speed. You should only apply a very gentle pressure to the point where it does not affect the rotating then it will do the job. There is no need to press on it at all which will stop the motor. The result is immediate, as my heels are so soft and you can see all the tiny pieces it shred off. I recommend you do this over the bath tub so you dont have to clean up all the tiny pieces afterwards. Otherwise, it will be scattered around, mostly on your lap. I dont see the need to use it often, maybe once a week is good enough.

   I'm telling you this thing works incredibly!!! If folks took the time to read the directions they'd know the reason the device "stops working" is because it's a precautionary measure in the design, they tell you this will happen if you apply too much pressure in an attempt to protect us from ourselves;) Thank heavens for that because I still managed to sand too much in one spot since I was a desperate dork and got too excited about the fact it was working so well, I went to town. But I don't care because it still feels soooo much better than the piece of "virtual gravel" gravel I had on the bottom of my toe. My calluses have practically disappeared. One more maintenance round I would say in a few days after they've "recovered" ;) please don't let the bad reviews prevent you from feeling like I do today!

   If there was a 6-star option, I would give this 6 stars! I have a huge problem with my heels building up calluses then they crack and bleed. No creams, lotions, scraping could resolve the problem or even lessen it. It would be painful to walk sometime. I LOVE LOVE PediSpin! It does what it says. Just don't press down too hard on it because it will momentarily pause, but let up the pressure and it resumes. They tested this product on a local news show as they do once per week for various gadgets and they passed this one! It's a keeper. I'm thinking of buying another one so if something happens to this, I'll have a backup. I have to use it almost daily.

   Don't believe the negative reviews. I have suffered for 40 years with calluses on the soles of my feet. To compensate for the pain I have arched by foot and the result was hammer toes. Additionally, because of favoring that left foot for so many years, I ended up with total left hip replacement. Until this product was found I used the Ped-Egg and it does a nice job. However, this is much better. Apply to your callus, plantar wart gently or whatever and you will love it.
