It works PERFECTLY!! It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be at first, because it's a little flat mat with no tread for traction. The minute it gets wet and you drip on to it, it looks like blood and it's the greatest Halloween bathroom decoration (or prank!). My only complaint is that once you use it, the water stains remain visible after it dries, making it difficult to clean and looking dirty after usage. Other than that I love it and we kept it in our bathroom for spooky season.

The shower curtain is really stuff. Material is a lot like a thin canvas. Comes in two pieces. They are great Halloween decor. The stiffness of the shower curtain makes it frustrating for that use. But they are tons of fun for Halloween.

The bloody mat feature works perfectly and has been the subject of several fun conversations. I didn't realize that is so thin. When I think of bath mat, I'm thinking carpet/rug thickness and this is not. The ends do like to curl, so I have it taped down, even though I did lay it out for several days under weights when I first got it. Even with its thinness, I would still buy this product again. The laugh is so worth it!
