I also didn't use the screws and mount that comes with the bowl. I just used a basic nail and hammered it into the wall. That did the trick and the hole isn't as big as it would have been had I used the mounting kit. Can't wait for my pothos to prosper!

The plastic is nice and thick, so I'm not worried about them breaking or falling off the wall. The hardware that came with it provided a few different ways to mount them, although one of the plastic mounts I wouldn't use because it looks very flimsy. I used the wall anchors and screws which holds them up very securely. I absolutely love them!
