You don’t need batteries since you can just plug it in, the mirrors themselves are good and I hate that I can see all of my pores so easily. The brightness of the lights is adjustable (just press and hold the power button) and it’s small enough when folded that it can be taken pretty much anywhere. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys doing makeup or anything of the sort.
