The description was very clear that this would not launch the tennis ball. I did however, think that on my hardwood floor the ball would roll enough for my dog to want to chase it. The machine does work but the ball rolls very gently only a few inches away from the machine. My dog is more interested in chasing the ball so this didn’t really work for us.
I would recommend this for more of a puzzle game for a dog that will just pick up and drop the ball in the machine to get the reward. My dog likes to run around with the tennis ball after chasing it so this didn’t work for us. The ball rolls too slowly to catch his attention and entertain him.
