   I had a very small spot that needed fixed on my couch from my cats claw. Our couch was brand new and luckily they sent a sample fabric swatch in the manual so I was able to use that. I mixed the colors and put it right into the fabric swatch. It took awhile before I felt like I had the closest match. I applied it to the couch and you can't even tell where the scratch was.

   I repaired a broken case. My repair didn't come out looking like new. Not the kit's fault, but making natural looking folds in leather is challenging. The kit materials bond to surfaces well and flexes ell with the backing. Instructions are clear, color mix chart helpful. I did have trouble with color matching. Colors dry darker than mixed. I recommend mixing extra and lightening next coats. make sure that edges have sufficient cover to blend with subsequent coats.

   I have only completed the first layer of product, many more layers are required before the repair is complete, but I was able to perfectly match the color of my boots. I have boots that have a thin leather layer over fabric and the leather has begun to crack and peel. I love these boots and do not wish to throw them away. With this kit I believe I can rejuvenate them. I am excited to be able to fix a scuff on a different pair as well. They are a different color, but I can easily mix their color with the tubes provided.
