   I love to eat fresh food but hate the time it takes to cut up all the ingredients. I was looking forward to receiving this to save me some time. It works! The issue I always had was keeping the head of lettuce from falling all apart after I cut it one way. This tool helps keep everything together so you can turn it and cut the opposite way. It is easy to clean as well.

   This is a great item for making chopped salads. My suggestion is, use a serrated knife and cut slowly, with a back and forth motion, or soft fruits and vegetables will be squashed. I have difficulty chopping or slicing veggies, I too often slice into my fingers. No sliced digits with this. I would give it ten stars, if I could.

I don’t order salads to go because they aren’t chopped up well enough. Now I can easily make my own. It’s smaller than I expected but actually makes plenty for 2-4 people.
